Larsen Il Cannone Violin Strings in Medium Tension with Warm & Broad A string expands the tonal palette of the Il Cannone series. This version substitutes the standard A string for the Warm & Broad A, offering a more expansive and mellow tone with increased lyrical quality and warmth.

The E string features unique carbon steel with removable ball end. The Warm & Broad A string has a synthetic core wound with aluminium, designed to offer a broader, warmer voice than the standard A. D and G strings, with synthetic multi-filament cores, are wound in pure silver, delivering a dark, rich tone with ample brilliance and projection.

This configuration is ideal for violinists who seek more warmth and expression on the A string, complementing brighter instruments and adding a lyrical, singing character to the upper register. Strings from the Il Cannone medium and Il Cannone Direct & Focused medium line are mutually compatible and fully interchangeable to achieve the ideal tone match for your instrument and personal style.
